North Branch Reformed Church in Bridgewater, NJ, is seeking a passionate and talented individual to direct our praise band and lead the contemporary music ministry for the blended worship services of our welcoming Christian church community.

 Responsibilities 

Lead and direct our talented contemporary praise band during our Sunday worship service and periodic special events,
Collaborate with the pastor and music team to plan and select inspiring and impactful music based on upcoming theological themes.
Conduct one weekly rehearsal with the praise band and ensure they are well-prepared for worship services.
Direct, instruct and mentor the musicians and vocalists of our praise band in order to glorify God through musical excellence and congregational participation.
Coordinate with our sound and technical team to ensure high-quality audio and visual presentations of the praise music.
Maintain our music library and inventory of musical instruments, equipment, sheet music and other resources.
Promote a spirit of worship, unity, and excellence within the music ministry.

Knowledge of contemporary Christian music and worship format.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of volunteers and staff.
Strong music coordination skills and attention to musical detail.
Compensation 

The average hourly compensation for this position is $25-$32, negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
