• Teach and develop the curriculum for the Ministry Fellows certificate program with several colleagues. This program utilizes an integrative curriculum to prepare students, some of whom are pastors or serve in new immigrant churches, for urban ministry within the New York City context (Fall 2010 – 2018).
• Taught the Latin America and the Caribbean section of the Church History and World Christianity Course, CRU Institute of Biblical Studies, January 23-27, 2017.
• Collaborated with two colleagues to develop the curriculum for and teach a 5-session Bible Survey course in the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016
• Co-developed the Our Story: A World of Christianity, and World Christianity through Literature and the Arts courses. These course are a part of a Masters of Arts in Ministry in the Global City degree recently approved by the New York State Board of Regents.
• Co-developed the curriculum and taught the World Christianity, Whole Story of Scripture, Work and Vocation and Family & Youth short courses (2013).
• Co-created the curriculum for the Youth Ministry Fellows program and team-taught the pilot sessions for 2013 and 2014. This is an introductory course designed to equip high school students and youth leaders for ministry in the city
• Visiting lecturer for the Masters of Arts in Urban Ministry, a collaborative degree offered between City Seminary of New York and Westminster Theological Seminary.

• Oversee all the non-degree programs (Ministry Fellows, Bible for Life, Praxis, and Practices Intensive – a new program to be piloted in January 2018) offered at the seminary. My responsibilities include: coordinating the efforts of my colleagues who are assigned various tasks related to these programs; updating program curricula; reviewing and improving student assessment; conducting informational open houses; and ensuring that each program is adequately resourced and supported to be successful in their execution.

Coordinator of the Global New York Church Project and Research Administrator (2009 – Feb. 2017)

• Co-Directed the Next Generation Research Project (January 2011 to January 2016). This research initiative focuses on the religious life of the post 1965 urban immigrant youth in New York City. Some of my responsibilities included: seeking funding for this research initiative; writing grants and grant reports; assembling a group of youth and youth leaders to talk about issues facing urban immigrant youth; conducting research on Latino, African, Asian and West Indian Immigrant youth; serving as the primary administrator for the project.
• Created the seminary’s policies and procedures for conducting research with human subjects.
• Organize, select sites and lead the annual seminary wide community prayer event called “Pray and Break Bread.” This series of five events per year, introduces students and other participants to an understanding of theological education in the city that is grounded in sensory and bodily life.
• Coordinated and administered the Global New York Church project. The Global New York Church project is a research program that documents the changes, growth and connections among immigrant churches in New York City. This was funded by a grant from the Louisville Institute.
• Created policies and procedures for the Library and Research Center and managed the Seminary’s library including cataloging and organizing the holdings (Books, ephemeral and journals) from August 2009 to February 2014.
