Announcement of the Retirement of The Reverend Dr. Willard Walden Christopher Ashley, Sr.

In an email to the seminary community this morning, NBTS president Dr. Micah L. McCreary announced the coming retirement of the Rev. Dr. Willard W. C. Ashley, Sr. from New Brunswick Theological Seminary, effective June 29, 2020.

Dr. Micah L. McCreary wrote:

It is with esteemed honor and appreciation that I write to announce the retirement of the Rev. Dr. Willard W. C. Ashley, Sr. from New Brunswick Theological Seminary, effective June 29, 2020. 

Dr. Ashley has faithfully and effectively served New Brunswick Theological Seminary for over 12 years as Director of Field Placement, Dean of the Seminary, Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology, Director of the Center for Clergy Care, and Vice President of Community Relations.  

NBTS applauds Dr. Ashley for his many years of faithful and effective teaching, leading, administration, and advocating.  We wish Dr. Ashley God’s very best in his retirement.
