Announcing: Position in History of Global Christianity

New Brunswick Theological Seminary invites applications for a tenure-track position in the History of Global Christianity. Rank will be determined by the applicant’s teaching and publishing experience. Faculty are expected to teach in all degree programs offered, engage in research and publication, and participate in the life of the seminary. Applicants should have an M.Div. or its equivalent, and an advanced theological degree (Th.D. or Ph.D.) in the history of Christianity. The appointment is expected to begin July 1, 2018.
New Brunswick Theological Seminary is a teaching institution in the Reformed tradition with commitment to prepare students from multiple confessional and free-church traditions. The successful candidate will have a passion for ministry, a commitment to metro-urban ministry, an appreciation for the Reformed tradition and the multiple church traditions present in the Seminary’s student body, a desire to teach and learn in an inter-cultural community, a commitment to theological scholarship, multicultural experience and competence, and eagerness to be part of a school that is committed to an anti-racist vision for itself, the church, and society.
