Self-Led Studies for Ministers New to the RCA

The Reformed Church Center is pleased to be able to support the work of RCA classes by offering them free use of four Self-Led Studies for ministers ordained outside of the Reformed Church in America who are preparing to be received. Each guide includes material in which the Book of Church Order says a classis must examine a candidate: “the theology, history, government, and disciplinary procedures of the Reformed Church in America; understanding of and adherence to the Standards of the Reformed Church in America; and loyalty to its agencies” (BCO 1.II.14, section 3). Each guide requires readings in books that must be purchased, the viewing of video lectures which can be accessed for free, and questions to help the candidate prepare for examination.
