Academic Convocation and Gathering on the Green

You are invited to our opening event for our 2022-2023 academic year!
The day begins at 11:00 am (eastern) with our Academic Convocation service.
NBTS alumna Rev. Caffie Risher will be our Convocation speaker, and will be preaching from Isaiah 43:19. The sermon theme is: Do you not perceive it?
Following the Convocation service, we will have a community “Gathering on the Green.” This will be a time of fun, fellowship, music, refreshments, grilling, and activities for children! Co-sponsored by NBTS, SSIM, and the NBTS Alumni Association.
The cookout will include: Hamburgers, hot dogs, and a vegetarian option. We will do cold salads (potato, pasta, coleslaw) and chips. For desserts: cookies or brownies. For drinks we will have ice tea, lemonade, and water.
Bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the picnic and entertainment!
