Another General Synod, Another Debrief at the Reformed Church Center
General Synod 2026 begins on June 11th. The General Synod Workbook says there will be some talk about restructure, some talk about justice, some talk about being the church, and plenty of talk about change. We know Sarah Palsma will preside, but we cannot be sure how it will all come out. Still, if the last few years are any indication, there will be plenty to talk about afterward.
That’s why the Reformed Church Center will host its annual General Synod Recap just twelve days after the delegates have gone home, on Wednesday, June 24, 2025, 12 noon to 2:00 pm EDT. This annual event is free and open to everyone, but all participants must register here.
We will hear from a smattering of people who had important things to share at General Synod about what they did and why and how they thought things worked out. Then everybody at the webinar will get to make observations, ask questions, and discuss!
Who will the panelists be? We don’t know yet, because, like every year, we’ll wait to see what happens. But panelists will be listed as soon as they are invited, which will be right after the Synod ends!
