A Conversation About the RCA’s Arabian Mission with Jerzy Zdanowski, a historian and Arabist and a Professor of Middle Eastern Studies at the Institute of Mediterranean and Oriental Cultures at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw/Poland. He was a Senior Fulbright Scholar at the Rutgers University and a recipient of the Kuwaiti and Jordanian Governments grants and the “haut niveau,” the French Government fellowship (La Maison Mediterranéenne des Sciences de l’Homme, Aix-en-Provence). His presentation is based on documents from the archives of Hope College in Holland, Michigan, NBTS, and the Archives of the Reformed Church in America. He also visited The Presbyterian Historical Society in Philadelphia (PA),The Library of the Princeton Theological Seminary, The Burke Library at Union Theological Seminary in NYC, and The Al Amana Centre in Muscat.
