About the Gardner A. Sage
Library Lamps –
The lamps were installed to provide reading light for patrons in 2003. The reading hall was equipped with table lamps after a 20 year request was fulfilled to improve the lighting to make it “possible to read in the hall at night and on cloudy days”. (Source: 2003 Library Director’s Report to the Board of Trustees)
Ten lamps were placed in the reading area and four were placed in the reading areas near the computers and at the circulation desk.
These decade old lamps bring remembrance to the study and preparation of Seminarians that will bring a delight to the homes and study areas in our private places. Enjoy an appropriate representation of NBTS by purchasing a lamp of distinction from the Gardner A. Sage Library.
