By Car From Route 287
Take Exit #10, Easton Ave. Follow Easton Ave. South (approx. 4 miles) to Huntington Street (opposite St. Peter’s Medical Center). Turn left onto Huntington Street, right onto College Avenue, then left on Bishop Place. The entrance to the parking lot is on the right at the top of the hill.
By Car From New Jersey Turnpike (North or South)
Turn off at Exit 9, bear right after the toll booths and follow signs for “Route 18 North – New Brunswick.” Stay to the left to continue on Route 18 North, take the exit marked “George Street-Rutgers University” (approximately 2.6 miles from the Turnpike), at the top of the exit ramp make a left onto George Street, take the first right onto Seminary Place, turn right onto College Avenue, take first right onto Bishop Place, entrance to the parking lot is on the right at the top of the hill.
By Car From Route 1
Take Exit at Route 18 North. Proceed approximately 3 miles to the George Street-Rutgers University exit (just past the Princeton exit – approximately 2.4 miles from Route 1). At the top of the exit ramp make a left on George Street and take the first right onto Seminary Place, turn right onto College Avenue, take first right onto Bishop Place, entrance to the parking lot is on the right at the top of the hill.
From Garden State Parkway
Southbound (from northern points): Take Exit 129 for the New Jersey Turnpike and head south. Turn off the Turnpike at Exit 9, bear right after the tollbooths and follow signs for “Route 18 North – New Brunswick.” Proceed approximately three miles to the Rutgers University exit (just past Princeton exit). Turn left onto George Street and proceed one block to Seminary Place. Turn right onto Seminary Place, then right onto College Avenue, then your first right on Bishop Place. The entrance to the parking lot is on the right at the top of the hill.
Northbound (from Southern points):
Take Exit 105 and follow signs for Route 18 North. After approximately 24 miles, you will pass the entrance for the New Jersey Turnpike. Continue on Route 18. Proceed approximately 3 miles to Rutgers University exit (just past the Princeton exit). Turn left on George Street and proceed one block to Seminary Place. Turn right onto Seminary Place, then right onto College Avenue, then your first right on Bishop Place. The entrance to the parking lot is on the right at the top of the hill.
By Public Transportation
New Jersey Transit’s Northeast Corridor Line runs to the New Brunswick Train Station. Proceed two blocks North on George Street. Turn left on Seminary Place. The seminary campus will be on your right, near the intersection with College Avenue.
Trains
- New Jersey Transit’s Norrtheast Corridor Line provides New Brunswick with both local and express service between Penn Station in New York and Newark and Trenton, New Jersey. For more information, call 973.762.5100 or click here.).
- SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) provides service at Trenton to and from Philadelphia. (For Information 215.580.7800).
- Amtrak provides limited direct service to New Brunswick, however connections can easily be made via New Jersey Transit trains to principal Amtrak stations at MetroPark, New York and Trenton. For more information, please visit www.amtrak.com or call (800) USA-RAIL.
Buses
New Jersey Transit Bus Routes (For more information, call NJ Transit at 973.762.5100):
- M11 – Service between New Brunswick (St. Peter’s Hospital) and South River (Main Street and Obert Street). This route also has a stop at the New Brunswick Train Station.
- M14 – Service between North Brunswick (Fashion Plaza Mall) and Edison (Middlesex County College) with a stop at the Rutgers Student Center on the College Avenue Campus.
- M15/M18 – Service between Woodbridge Center and Rutgers Student Center with stops at the Rutgers Student Center on the College Avenue Campus, downtown New Brunswick on George Street near the Civic Square Building.
